Bridging Passions

Local musician Adam Remnant's journey of combining his love for music and teaching

Afterschool Music Program

This past summer, Adam Remnant started as the Assistant Director of Arts Education at Stuarts Opera House, mainly focusing on the after-school enrichment program that brings local students together to learn and play music.

Stuarts Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio, where the after-school music program takes place on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.

Tatum L'Heureux is a high school student from Nelsonville, Ohio, who has been a student of the program for about four years and shares her experience with the program as well as taking on a new role as a mentor to other students involved.

Studying English in college, Adam originally had planned to become a Language Arts teacher, but once his musical career began to grow he decided to follow that passion. Once becoming involved with Stuarts Opera House, Adam was able to bridge his passion for teaching with music to educate local students.

Personal Work

While balancing his career and family life, Adam enjoys taking time to work on his personal projects and finding artistic fulfillment through creating music, song writing, and photography.
